Rental Agreement

Rental Items

I am renting moving totes, dollies, and/or related equipment from Acadiana Tote Rentals.

Reservation & Payment

A $50 reservation deposit is required to secure my booking date. The reservation deposit will be applied toward my rental fee. The reservation deposit is non-refundable if the reservation is canceled within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to delivery. Reservations are not guaranteed until the required deposit has been received.

By providing my payment information, I authorize Acadiana Tote Rentals to securely retain my payment method on file and charge it for any unpaid rental balance, late fees, second-trip fees, or replacement charges authorized under this agreement. Payment information is stored securely by our payment processor and is not stored directly by Acadiana Tote Rentals.

Rental Period

The rental period begins upon delivery and includes up to 14 days unless otherwise agreed.

Customer Responsibilities

I agree to use rental equipment only for its intended purpose and to exercise reasonable care to ensure the rented totes and dollies are safeguarded during the rental period. I understand that I remain responsible for all rented equipment until it is returned to Acadiana Tote Rentals, even if movers, friends, family members, or other third parties handle or transport the equipment.

I agree to return all equipment in reasonably clean condition; to have all totes emptied, stacked together, and easily accessible on the scheduled pickup date; and to use only removable labels or the label cards provided by Acadiana Tote Rentals.

Lost or Damaged Items

Customer is responsible for returning all rented totes, dollies, and equipment. Missing, lost, stolen, or damaged equipment beyond normal wear and tear may result in repair or replacement charges, including:

• Missing tote, or damaged beyond repair $20 each
• Missing dolly $150 each

Customer authorizes Acadiana Tote Rentals to charge the payment method on file for applicable repair or replacement costs for any missing, lost, stolen, or damaged equipment, as well as any other fees authorized under this agreement.

Normal scuffs, scratches, labels, tape residue, and minor wear from moving are expected and will not result in additional charges. Acadiana Tote Rentals reserves the right to determine whether equipment damage exceeds normal wear and tear.

Late Returns

If equipment is not available for pickup on the scheduled date, additional rental charges may apply. Additional week charges:

• 20 Tote Package $25
• 40 Tote Package $40
• 60 Tote Package $50

Late rental charges will continue to accrue each additional week until all rented equipment has been returned to Acadiana Tote Rentals. Acadiana Tote Rentals reserves the right to charge additional fees if a second pickup trip is required because equipment was not emptied, stacked, or accessible at the scheduled pickup time.

Pickup Authorization

Customer authorizes Acadiana Tote Rentals to retrieve rental equipment from the agreed pickup location on the scheduled pickup date.

Liability

Acadiana Tote Rentals is not responsible for damage to personal property stored in totes or for injuries resulting from misuse of rental equipment.

Photo Documentation

Acadiana Tote Rentals may photograph rental equipment at delivery and pickup for inventory, condition verification, and documentation of any missing or damaged items.
